ekrusty Posted June 9, 2011 Share Posted June 9, 2011 Hi there, is it possible to make Autoit randomly execute one function out of a bigger pool of functions? Lets say I have coded the following functions: Func _MyFunc1() ... EndFunc Func _MyFunc2() ... EndFunc Func _MyFunc3() ... EndFunc How do I make autoit execute one of those randomly at a certain point in the skript? I tried to randomize the numbers "1" to "3" via the randomize function. But i didn't manage to make it work. See my tries: $rnd = string(random(1,3,1)) ;1st alternative to execute the function - didn't work _MyFunc&$rnd&() ;2nd alternative to execute the function - didn't work _MyFunc&"$rnd"&() ;3rd alternative to execute the function - didn't work "MyFunc"&$rnd&"()" I would be very glad, if you could give a hand with this - I am terribly bad with autoit Cheers, ekrusty Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
jchd Posted June 9, 2011 Share Posted June 9, 2011 Try this: Local $funcs[4] = [ _ "MyFunc1", _ "MyFunc2", _ "MyFunc3", _ "MyLastFunctionInPool" _ ] Call($funcs[Random(0, UBound($funcs) - 1, 1)]) ; you can pass parameters as well, see help Func MyFunc1() ; do something version 1 MsgBox(0, "", "Function 1 is running") EndFunc Func MyFunc2() ; do something version 2 MsgBox(0, "", "Function 2 is running") EndFunc Func MyFunc3() ; do something version 3 MsgBox(0, "", "Function 3 is running") EndFunc Func MyLastFunctionInPool() ; do something else MsgBox(0, "", "Last function is running") EndFunc This wonderful site allows debugging and testing regular expressions (many flavors available).
