JohnOne
Is there a way to determine programmatically what mode a script is using at any given point in it? Edit, I'm thinking I could use a boolean at the beginning and then revert it to that after any change, but It'd be nice to know for sure. Moderators Melba23 Posted August 7, 2011 Moderators Share Posted August 7, 2011 (edited) JohnOne,Just call Opt("GUIOnEventMode") without the parameter and it returns the current value. You also get the current value returned if you use a parameter - I do this quite often in my UDFs to force MessageLoop mode and then use the returned value to reset whatever mode was set by the user. M23Edit: All Opt options work like this, by the way. JohnOne
Seems I thought I was too clever for the helpfile, In my defense, when I type the option name into the index field in help it always just goes to that particular one. I guess I never even new it returned anything. Thank you very kindly M23. AutoIt Absolute Beginners Require a serial Pause Script Video Tutorials by Morthawt ipify Monkey's are, like, natures humans.
