How to go to next item in listview

Alright, so say you've selected an item, clicked a button and that listview item is saved into a var. Now, next time I press a button I want to be able to select the next item through the program, not the user selecting it. And I want this to happen even if the user has scrolled through the items and even has clicked one, just not the button to select it.

Here's some pseudo

UserSelectsItem1

UserClicksButton1

ProgramLaunchesItem1

UserSelectsItem3

UserClicksButton2

ProgramLaunchesItem2

And instead of playing Item3 (The selected item) I just want it to remember where it last ran from (Item1) and go to 2 instead of the selected item.

Let me know if I confused anyone, I will try to rephrase.

Keep track of which was the last item selected in a variable, and then use that as the index to the next item in the listview.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

I hereby grant any person the right to use any code I post, that I am the original author of, on the autoitscript.com forums, unless I've specifically stated otherwise in the code or the thread post. If you do use my code all I ask, as a courtesy, is to make note of where you got it from.
