(Simple Q) Looping Hold Right Control

Recommended Posts

I'm pretty poor at scripting, and I just want something to simplify copying/pasting a bit.

All I'm asking for is: 1.) What is the code that will repeatedly hold down the RIGHT CONTROL key?

-- I've looked through several threads, and none seem to "loop send" correctly.

2.) How do I exit the script once initiated?

Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Welcome to the AutoIt forum. ;)

- 1. As far as I know you cannot hold down a specific Ctrl key using Send - is it important that it is the RIGHT Ctrl key? :)

- 2. I assume you are running an infinite loop to keep your script active - so use a HotKey to exit along these lines:

; Press Alt-ESC to exit
HotKeySet("!{ESC}", "On_Exit")

While 1

Func On_Exit()
    MsgBox(0, "Hi", "Exiting")

P.S. Please take a moment to read the Forum Rules before too long. :D
