bjornsteine Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 (edited) I have searched around in these forums, but I cannot find a solution to a problem I have. I want to make a little autostart which will execute 2 different spreadsheets in 2 instances of Excel on 2 monitors (one instance on each monitor). I have found several examples of how to find all sorts of information on the monitors, but nowhere on how to use this information. Anybody have a tips? Bjørn Edited March 26, 2012 by bjornsteine
KaFu Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 I'm not sure but I would assume that Excel is started on the primary monitor by default: - Get the size and position of the secondary monitor - Start the first Excel instance and move the window to the second monitor with winmove - Start the second instance of Excel OS: Win10-22H2 - 64bit - German, AutoIt Version: 3.3.16.1, AutoIt Editor: SciTE, Website: https://funk.eu AMT - Auto-Movie-Thumbnailer (2024-Oct-13) BIC - Batch-Image-Cropper (2023-Apr-01) COP - Color Picker (2009-May-21) DCS - Dynamic Cursor Selector (2024-Oct-13) HMW - Hide my Windows (2024-Oct-19) HRC - HotKey Resolution Changer (2012-May-16) ICU - Icon Configuration Utility (2018-Sep-16) SMF - Search my Files (2025-May-18) - THE file info and duplicates search tool SSD - Set Sound Device (2017-Sep-16)
