jpmichel
So, I use AutoIT to automate a large number of workflows for a library system. A staff person recently had an old computer replaced with a new computer (Windows 7 Enterprise). All of the files and programs were migrated over. One of the programs was updated from a previous version. The code pasted below is just a test script I put in place. This script works on my local machine with the older version of the software but doesn't work on the staff person's machine with the new version. I wouldn't think the version would matter. What do you think? Here's the script: If WinExists("OCLC Connexion") Then WinActivate("OCLC Connexion") Else MsgBox(64,"nope","please open Connexion. Click ok when logged in") WinWaitActive("OCLC Connexion") EndIf Sleep(1000) Send("{ALT}") All that this should do is activate the menu items. The first bit is working...it is activating the OCLC window, but then it stops working. Thoughts?
Topher
Perhaps adding #AutoIt3Wrapper_UseX64=n to the beginning of the script might help the problem. jpmichel
Where is the AutoIt3Wrapper.exe file supposed to reside?
Moderators Melba23 Posted April 13, 2012 Moderators Share Posted April 13, 2012 jpmichel,You just download the full SciTE4AutoIt3 package from here and install it. Then you will find lots of new goodies in your SciTE menus and AutoIt3Wrapper will be used to run and compile your scripts which allows you to use directives like the one suggested to you above.
