Updated ImageSearch Library

18 posts in this topic

I made some changes to the ImageSearch library. You can pass an hBitmap for the image your searching for and the image you want to search in. I also fixed a memory leak i saw.

If you grabbed the version before this message is posted you'll need to get it again there was an issue with the .au3 file handling tolerance. I'll look at adding a hBitmap example. My main reason for the modification was so I could use it in .net with embedded resources.

It shouldn't have to change.

if $result[0]="0" then return 0

Not sure why it's using that instead of the below since $result is just used as a string and not an array.

if $result="0" then return 0

The array isn't created till line 57.

$array = StringSplit($result[0],"|")

Let me know if your seeing something i'm not.

How would you go about referencing this .dll into a vb.net project?

I would appreciate any guidance that you offer.

Thanks!

I just clicked that link and was able to download it without a problem. Although I'm not overly thrilled that the link goes through ad.fly, it does work.

To my knowledge you'll need to reverse it using tools like ollydbg. Once code has gone through a compiler and spit back out into binary from the machine language, the most you can get it back to is the machine language. Correct me if I am wrong, anyone. That way I'll know better next time.

Thanks a lot for the updated version! I finally don't get rc-1073741819 problem which I got with the old imagesearch which was working on windows xp but is not working on win7 and returns that strange error.

This works but with one reproach: you have to edit the script and fix the 4 errors of missing space before

knucklesCZ,

you have to edit the script and fix the 4 errors of missing space before

You should be able to solve that for yourself by downloading the beta Au3Check from here. ;)
