HotKeySet with FileSaveDialog

Recommended Posts

Hello,

If you use HotKeySet in your program, when FileSaveDialog is open, the hotkeys won't work. Is there a workaround for this? I made an example below(AutoIt file has to be File -> Encoding -> UTF-8 with BOM):

#include
#include
#include

Opt("GUIOnEventMode", 1)

Global $Button1

_setFa()
_mainGui()

Func _mainGui()
#Region ### START Koda GUI section ### Form=
$Form1 = GUICreate("Form1", 153, 82, 192, 124)
GUISetOnEvent($GUI_EVENT_CLOSE, "_onBtn")
$Button1 = GUICtrlCreateButton("Button1", 8, 8, 139, 65)
GUICtrlSetOnEvent(-1, "_onBtn")
GUISetState()
#EndRegion ### END Koda GUI section ###
While 1
Sleep(200)
WEnd
EndFunc

Func _setFa()
HotKeySet('a','_a')
HotKeySet('s','_s')
HotKeySet('d','_d')
HotKeySet('f','_f')
EndFunc

Func _onBtn()
Switch @GUI_CTRLID
Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE
Exit
Case $Button1
Local $var = FileSaveDialog("Choose a name.", @DesktopDir, "Scripts (*.aut;*.au3)", 2+16)
If @error Then
MsgBox(4096, "", "Save cancelled.")
Else
MsgBox(4096, "", "You chose " & $var)
EndIf
EndSwitch
EndFunc

Func _a()
Send('ش')
EndFunc
Func _s()
Send('س')
EndFunc
Func _d()
Send('ی')
EndFunc
Func _f()
Send('ب')
EndFunc

leomoon,

I believe that the Windows dialogs like Open and Save are modal and so block the script until exited. :(
