This is my current code:

#include <ButtonConstants.au3>
#include <EditConstants.au3>
#include <GUIConstantsEx.au3>
#include <ProgressConstants.au3>
#include <StaticConstants.au3>
#include <WindowsConstants.au3>
#include <File.au3>
#include <string.au3>
#Region ### START Koda GUI section ### Form=C:Program Files (x86)AutoIt3Iconsmy menu.kxf
$Form1_1 = GUICreate("Form1", 346, 127, 192, 124)
$MenuItem1 = GUICtrlCreateMenu("File")
$MenuItem2 = GUICtrlCreateMenuItem("Options", $MenuItem1)
$MenuItem3 = GUICtrlCreateMenuItem("Exit (Alt+F4)", $MenuItem1)
$MenuItem4 = GUICtrlCreateMenu("Help")
$MenuItem5 = GUICtrlCreateMenuItem("About", $MenuItem4)
$Progress1 = GUICtrlCreateProgress(96, 72, 150, 17)
$Input1 = GUICtrlCreateInput("", 96, 24, 145, 21)
$Button1 = GUICtrlCreateButton("Explore", 248, 24, 75, 25)
$Icon1 = GUICtrlCreateIcon("C:\Program Files (x86)\AutoIt3\Icons\au3.ico", -1, 32, 40, 32, 32)
GUISetState(@SW_SHOW)
#EndRegion ### END Koda GUI section ###

While 1
    $nMsg = GUIGetMsg()
    Switch $nMsg
        Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE
            Exit

        Case $Button1
    EndSwitch
WEnd

I would like to know how to pop up a "mini-explorer(as when you install a program this is used for the installer to know where the files are going to be installed") when you click on "Explore" button, and also, i would like to know how to associate the text boss to the left of it, with this "Mini-explorer" so that is actually shows the path where the files are going.I've never done this before and Koda Helpfile doesn't have anything that will help me with this, so I'd appreciate any help, it's the first time I'm building a program of my own :)

13ktuz,

Try this: :)

Case $Button1
    $sPath = FileSelectFolder("Select a Folder", "")
    MsgBox(0, "Selected Folder", $sPath)

And when you post code, please use Code tags - put [autoit] before and [/autoit] after your posted code. I have done it above - you can how much better it looks. ;)

You're an angel, I couldn't be happier at the moment :) Thank you so much for taking a bit of your time to help a fellow programmer(in an early stage) :) By the way, I'm having a syntax error right at the beggining of this code

Case $Button1
Gives me an error right at this part. Any special reason why? Edited by 13ktuz
