abberration
The Send command does not detect what someone types. The message box returns a 6 if yes is clicked and a 7 if no is clicked. You actually don't need to use GuiCtrlSetOnEvent. Try something along these lines: $answer = MsgBox(4, "Cancel Installation", "Are you sure you want to cancel the software installation?") If $answer = 6 Then MsgBox(0, "", "You clicked Yes") ElseIf $answer = 7 Then MsgBox(0, "", "You clicked No") EndIf Edited August 9, 2012 by abberration Easy MP3 | Software Installer | Password Manager
BrewManNH
It doesn't work because you're sending ALT-Y to something and reading the return value of the Send command and expecting that to mean something to the script. Your CancelClick function could be rewritten like this. Func CancelClick() If MsgBox(4, "Cancel Installation", "Are you sure you want to cancel the software installation?") = 6 Then ; if you click Y on the msgbox, then exit Exit EndIf EndFunc ;==>CancelClick If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day.
