2 actions at the same time

4 posts in this topic

I'd like to ask how can I make 2 actions at a time ? Let's say I want to move the mouse somewhere and while it is moving to there the key L is pressed and hold until the mouse go to that position. I tried to first mousemove and then send the key but it first mousemoved and then pressed the key just like as I expected. I tried doing with the recorder but it only gave me this :

Send("aMouseMove(341, 783)) and it wasn't even full , there weren't braces at the end . Thanks in advance :)

Hi, DareDev1l. As AutoIt is not truly multithreaded, this is not an easy thing to accomplish. AutoIt processes one command at a time. If you search the forum for "multithread" there are a lot of folks who have come up with various workarounds to this issue. You might find one that suits your needs.
