12am
Hello, I'm looking for some general advice for calling specific UDF(s) in VB.NET Specifically the ImageSearch UDF - which has it's own .dll as well. Any suggestions on how I would accomplish this? This branches out to other user defined functions as well. I would appreciate any information you may have on this. Thanks! BrewManNH
The UDFs only work with AutoIt, not with VB.Net, you can't use UDFs with AutoItX. If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day. JohnOne
Your best bet for this is to create an autoit3 executable, and pass it function parameters via commandline. Of course you need to retrieve your return values, this could be done via writing to a file amongst other ways, including some jiggery pokery to output it via exit code.
