I have been trying to figure this out for over an hour now and i cant seem to do it(first time)

What i want is to be able to press the "." key and it run the script.

When the script runs i want it to switch from current window to cmd prompt window, once its there i want it to enter "netstat -n" and then press enter.

and then sleep for 5 seconds.

Heres what i have so far, and its not working right

WinActivate("C:wINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CMD.EXE")
WinWaitActive("C:wINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CMD.EXE")

While True
Send("netstat -n")
Sleep(5000)
WEnd

Things i cant figure out:

- how to run the script when i press the "." key

- how to make it press the enter key after entering the "netstat -n"

if anyone could help me with this i would be extremely appreciative, i tried googling it but it didnt help me out any.

thanks!

This thread made me roll with laughter. "C:wINDOWSSYSTEM32CMD.EXE" could be "C:\Windows\System32\CMD.EXE". Stop lying that you searched for hours, trying to figure out... You were not searching, but were scratching your head. :guitar:

MKISH,

Please try to remain courteous on the forum - accusing someone outright of "lying" is not a pleasant thing to do. An apology might be in order. ;)

Apologies to the OP if I sound rude, seriously, but still... they should be able to point out such minor errors.
