GaryFrost
if you have a vbs script it can be done in the beta version, a matter of translating the vbs to autoit. TheSaint
I have thought about doing this myself (at some future time), especially after tackling & using Lazycat's - get_exif_info.au3 (here). I would think that the process he used for getting EXIF data (Camera Info embedded in a .jpg file), would be a similar one to that which you could use to get id3 tag info. They had an example/project in a recent PCUser mag, where using the new Visual Basic (.Net) program, you could both read & write id3 tags. The method exampled, used a hex reader to view the last few bytes of an .mp3, where the id3v1.1 tag is located.I hope this helps?java script:emoticon('')smilie Make sure brain is in gear before opening mouth!
