GUI Questions

Recommended Posts

I haven't programmed in ~6 years so I am learning everything over again, it seems. I have been diggin through the forums pretty extensively, but have run into a few hurdles with my attempt at a single sign on GUI.

I have made the GUI, using a template, but I don't know what commands I would use to populate the data into forms.

Here is the gui:

$gui = GUICreate("SSO", 240, 290)
$username = GUICtrlCreateLabel("Website Username", 8, 20, 136, 17)
$usernameinput = GUICtrlCreateInput("Username", 8, 40, 217, 21)
$password = GUICtrlCreateLabel("Website Password", 8, 70, 136, 17)
$passwordinput = GUICtrlCreateInput("*********", 8, 90, 217, 21,$ES_PASSWORD)
;Java Web App
$username2 = GUICtrlCreateLabel("Java Username", 8, 130, 136, 17)
$username2input = GUICtrlCreateInput("Username", 8, 150, 217, 21)
$password2 = GUICtrlCreateLabel("Java Password", 8, 180, 136, 17)
$password2input = GUICtrlCreateInput("*********", 8, 200, 217, 21,$ES_PASSWORD)
While 1
$nMsg = GUIGetMsg()
Switch $nMsg

One form is located on a website, and looks as such:

The other username and password needs to be fed into a java webapp. I don't have access to the source files for the web app. When I use the autoit spy tool, it does not differentiate any buttons from the frame. It also lists every area of the web app screen as the same mouse location.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the AutoIt forum. :)

Alas, you have not chosen a good subject for your first question - please read the Forum Rules - particularly the bit about not discussing forum or site login scripts. I realise this was not intentional on your part, but I am locking the thread as it does violate that rule. ;)

See you soon with a legitimate question I hope. :)
