Controlling Compiled scripts

3 posts in this topic

Hi all

I have compilled a script in AutoIT3

I run the script from the command line (compiled)

The problem is that when I run the compiled script from the command line, it launches and immediately returns control to the command line.

I want the executable to return control back once its done processing.

Any help would be appreciated

any code you currently have would also be appreciated. Hard to help someone when they don't post what they have.

Welcome to the forums!

You'll find the same behaviour when you call any other non-console program like Calculator or Notepad. You need to call it like this:

start /w myScript.exe

if you want the command line to return only when processing is complete.
