Move an existing window to new position?

How do I move an existing window to new position?

(I want a hidden gui to show up under the mouse cursor position over the main gui - I know I can get the position of the cursor by GUIGetCursorInfo(), but not the command to move the hidden gui?)

Tin2tin,

Perhaps a cursory glance at the Help file might throw up a few possibilities. I would try combinations of the words "Move" and "Win" if I were you. ;)

Thanks. I've honestly been searching the help file for a solution, in order to move the position of a child gui in relation to the main gui. Is the simplest way to get the position of the main gui and add those values to the position of the cursor for placing the child gui under the cursor?

Tin2tin,

Why not post the code you are using - it is always easier with an example and anything we write is unlikely to be close to what you already have. ;)

I guess I originally was looking for an "internal" solution using the gui handles instead of using "external" window titles, but whatever works ;-) And this works fine for me:

Local $a
$a = GUIGetCursorInfo()
Local $size = WinGetPos("Eyeframe Converter "&$version)
WinMove("Time code for selection","",$a[0]+$size[0]-90,$a[1]+$size[1]-15)

Tin2tin,

You can always use a handle in place of the title in any AutoIt function which requires it - look in the Help file under <Using AutoIt - Window Titles and Text (Advanced) and scroll to the bottom of the page. ;)
