Long time ago I played a bit with tesseact

and modified it to: this simpletesseract:

Since I installed win 7 and tesseract stopped working I gave up and stopped using it.

After 3 years I got new hope because I found a new tessearct version:

http://code.google.com/p/tesseract-ocr/downloads/list

But this simple code that worked a long time ago on windows xp cause some heavy problems for me:

#include "SimpleTesseract.au3"

sleep(5000)

$omg = _TesseractScreenCapture(0,"",1,3,291,612,471,638,1)
MsgBox(0, "Test:", $omg)

C:Program Files (x86)AutoIt3IncludeSimpleTesseract.au3 (140) : ==> Variable must be of type "Object".:

Any solution?

Thnx

Hendrik

This might help, in fact the entire thread will probably help with using this under Windows 7 or any version other than XP.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

I hereby grant any person the right to use any code I post, that I am the original author of, on the autoitscript.com forums, unless I've specifically stated otherwise in the code or the thread post. If you do use my code all I ask, as a courtesy, is to make note of where you got it from.
