Reinhardt1julian
I want to check which ListView Line is selected. With the code $selected = GUICtrlRead($List1data) it returns 27 (that doesn't really help) In Advanced mode it would read every single items state and that would be too much information. I just want to know, which Line (item) got selected, and delete this line. I searched a lot in the Help File, but i found nothing that could help me. BrewManNH
27 is the control id of the item selected in the listview. Are you looking to find out which item is selected, or are you looking to get the text from the item? If all you're looking to do is delete the item highlighted then your search of the help file needs some work, because _GUICtrlListView_DeleteItemsSelected() does EXACTLY that. If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day. Reinhardt1julian
I actually don't want to delete it, i want to replace it with something else. Lets say i have GUICtrlCreateListViewItem($a & "|" & $b, $List1data) In an inputbox you can say what $a and $b are. Now i want to get $a and $b back, even if the script stopped (i saved them in a txt file) to modify them.

Reinhardt1julian
I don't think thats the right code for this situation. I got $selected = _GUICtrlListView_GetItemTextString($List1data, _GUICtrlListView_GetSelectionMark($List1data)) At least i got $selected = variable1|variable2 But now i have to split it, that i got $selected1 =variable1 $selected2 = variable2 ;or $selected[0] =variable1 $selected[1] = variable2
