That doesn't make any sense, what exactly are you trying to do?

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

Please tell me where am i wrong?

That is simple: You are not providing enough information to give any sort of proper answer.

What is the program you're trying to interact with? The control ID parameter of the ControlCommand line in your first post is probably wrong. I don't know if this example code will help you or not, but here you go.. This is a way I use that function to switch to the first tab in a program if it's not already selected.

; Change to first Tab if it's not already selected
$TabItem = ControlCommand("Forum Spam List Checker", "", "SysTabControl321", "CurrentTab")
If $TabItem <> 1 Then
    For $a = 1 To $TabItem - 1
        ControlCommand("Forum Spam List Checker", "", "SysTabControl321", "TabLeft")
        Sleep(100)
    Next
EndIf

Use the AutoIt Window Info Tool to get the ControlID of the main part of the window, not any of it's individual controls. It will probably be the same or similar to the ID I'm using in that example code I posted.
