Problem with HotKeySet

Recommended Posts

I'm having problems getting this script working, I've never used HotKeySet before and I don't understand what I'm doing wrong. Both the Run commands work by themselves when used out of the functions.

HotKeySet("^{F11}", "Desktop")
HotKeySet("^{F12}", "OnTop")

Func Desktop()
   Run("C:\Program Files\Rainmeter\Rainmeter.exe !RainmeterZpos -2 YBoris-Time")
EndFunc

Func OnTop()
   Run("C:\Program Files\Rainmeter\Rainmeter.exe !RainmeterZpos 2 YBoris-Time")
EndFunc

If anyone could enlighten me on how this actually works I would be grateful.

zeroni13,

They both work for me - when I keep the script alive with a loop: ;)

HotKeySet("^{F11}", "Desktop")
HotKeySet("^{F12}", "OnTop")

HotKeySet("{ESC}", "On_Exit")

While 1
    Sleep(10)
WEnd

Func Desktop()
   MsgBox(0, Default, "Ctrl-F11 pressed!")
EndFunc

Func OnTop()
   MsgBox(0, Default, "Ctrl-F12 pressed!")
EndFunc

Func On_Exit()
    Exit
EndFunc
