Disable Hotkey when minimize

Alfian16,

Welcome to the AutoIt forum. :)

I would suggest using Accelerator keys instead of HotKeys - they are only active when the GUI is active and so the problem does not arise. Look at GUISetAccelerators in the Help file. ;)

Otherwise, just disable/re-enable the HotKey as the GUI minimizes/restores - like this:

#include <GUIConstantsEx.au3>
#include <Constants.au3>

HotKeySet("q", "_Q")

$hGUI = GUICreate("Test", 500, 500)

GUISetState()

While 1
    Switch GUIGetMsg()
        Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE
            Exit
        Case $GUI_EVENT_MINIMIZE
            HotKeySet("q")
        Case $GUI_EVENT_RESTORE
            HotKeySet("q", "_Q")
    EndSwitch
WEnd

Func _Q()
    MsgBox($MB_SYSTEMMODAL, "Hi", "Pressed")
EndFunc
All clear? :)

Alfian16,

Did you set the HotKey at the beginning of the script? :huh:

If it still does not work, you need to post the code you are using - see here how to do it. ;)

okay

Opt("TrayIconHide", 1)
If ProcessExists("uTorrent.exe") Then ProcessClose("uTorrent.exe")

While 1
    $Msg = GUIGetMsg()
    If $Msg=$Button1 Then Button1()
    If $Msg=$Button2 Then Button2()
    Switch $Msg
        Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE
            Exit
         Case $GUI_EVENT_MINIMIZE
            HotKeySet("{ENTER}")
        Case $GUI_EVENT_RESTORE
            HotKeySet("{ENTER}", "Button2")
    EndSwitch
WEnd

and how close the program "uTorrent.exe" if the program already exists, Script to close "uTorrent.exe" above. only close if "uTorrent.exe" already executed, then I run the script above

Alfian16,

You appear to share an account with alfianpradana - I am assuming this is an oversight as multiple accounts are not permitted here. :whistle:

The 2 accounts will have to be merged - which one do you wish to keep? :huh:
