Alfian16
How to disable Hotkey when minimize ?
BugFix
You can catch the minimize-event and disable the hotkey. But more easy is: Ask at first inside the Hotkey function, if the related window is the active window. If not - return this function without any action. Moderators Melba23 Posted September 16, 2013 Moderators Share Posted September 16, 2013 Alfian16,Welcome to the AutoIt forum. I would suggest using Accelerator keys instead of HotKeys - they are only active when the GUI is active and so the problem does not arise. Look at GUISetAccelerators in the Help file. Otherwise, just disable/re-enable the HotKey as the GUI minimizes/restores - like this:#include <GUIConstantsEx.au3> #include <Constants.au3> HotKeySet("q", "_Q") $hGUI = GUICreate("Test", 500, 500) GUISetState() While 1 Switch GUIGetMsg() Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE Exit Case $GUI_EVENT_MINIMIZE HotKeySet("q") Case $GUI_EVENT_RESTORE HotKeySet("q", "_Q") EndSwitch WEnd Func _Q() MsgBox($MB_SYSTEMMODAL, "Hi", "Pressed") EndFuncAll clear? Moderators Melba23 Posted September 16, 2013 Moderators Share Posted September 16, 2013 Alfian16,Did you set the HotKey at the beginning of the script? If it still does not work, you need to post the code you are using - see here how to do it.
