Using listview in Auto It to store data

Ok,

I am finding Auto IT very interesting, I still wonna learn more.

I am learning to create listview in Auto IT, now I wonna still try out something

I still wonna make use of the same parameters I have been using earler on.

$info = "$ip,$computername,$usermame,$osversion"

Now use the TCPREcv to receive data.

Like this

$isSocket = TCPRecv("127.0.0.1",32258)

Now I wonna save the parameters with listview like this

IP | Computer name | username | OS version

With the values respectively, how do I go about it. Kindly help with source codes.

I tried tcp recv, with an example I saw on here it worked. Now I wanted to try with the same example using a GUI so as to save the data usig the listview, so I was using this add item issue. I got lost along the way, so using those parameters, kindly assit using GUI and listview, with TCP to receive and save data

redfire,

Looking at your previous threads this should be along the right lines:

#include <GUIConstantsEx.au3>
#include <Constants.au3>
#include <GuiListView.au3>

; I modified this from another of your threads
$ip = "IP"
$pcname = "PC_Name"
$pcusername = "PC_UserName"
$osversion = "OS_Version"
; Get the items into a single string - note the use of "|" as a delimiter
$info = $ip & "|" & $pcname & "|" & $pcusername & "|" & $osversion

; Create GUI
$hGUI = GUICreate("Test", 500, 500)

$cLV = GUICtrlCreateListView("", 10, 10, 480, 200)
_GUICtrlListView_AddColumn($cLV, "IP", 115)
_GUICtrlListView_AddColumn($cLV, "Computer Name", 115)
_GUICtrlListView_AddColumn($cLV, "Username", 115)
_GUICtrlListView_AddColumn($cLV, "OS Version", 115)

$cButton = GUICtrlCreateButton("Add", 10, 300, 80, 30)

GUISetState()

While 1
    Switch GUIGetMsg()
        Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE
            Exit
        Case $cButton
            ; Add line to ListView
            GUICtrlCreateListViewItem($info, $cLV)
    EndSwitch
WEnd
I hope that gets you started. :)
