Using an underline when assigning a value to a variable to go to the next line?(for readability)

Hey there! I am generating some HTML, and I saw on the wiki, in the array section, the author used an underline to go to the next line while assigning values to the variable for readability purposes. I can't seem to get it to work with a string. 

I am trying 

$html = _
"blahblahblah" _
"blah blah blah"

[BrewManNH]

Change it to this when dealing with strings.

$html =  _
"blahblahblah" & _
"blah blah blah"

& "blah blah blah"

And never mind. I realized there wasn't a '&'.

it should look like this
 

$html = _
"blahbklahblah" & _
"blah blah blah"

The & is still needed because there are multiple strings being put together
