The following code works for when both numbers are positive but if i enter in "-1.0000" the script stops working.

Func ReadCmdLineParams() ;Read in the optional switch set in the users profile and set a variable - used in case selection
    ;;Loop through every arguement
    ;;$cmdLine[0] is an integer that is eqaul to the total number of arguements that we passwed to the command line
    For $i = 1 To $cmdLine[0]
        Select
                ;If the argument equal  -latitude
                Case $CmdLine[$i] = "-latitude"
                ;check for missing argument
                If $i == $CmdLine[0] Then cmdLineHelpMsg()

                ;Make sure the next argument is not another parameter
                If StringLeft($cmdline[$i + 1], 1) == "-" Then
                    cmdLineHelpMsg()
                Else
                    ;;Strip white space from the beginning and end of the input
                    ;;Not always necessary let it in just in case
                    ;$msgBody = StringStripWS($CmdLine[$i + 1], 3)
                    ControlSend($hWnd, "", "[CLASS:WindowsForms10; INSTANCE:3]", StringStripWS($CmdLine[$i + 1], 3))
                EndIf

                ;If the argument equal  -longitude
                Case $CmdLine[$i] = "-longitude"
                ;check for missing argument
                If $i == $CmdLine[0] Then cmdLineHelpMsg()

                ;Make sure the next argument is not another parameter
                If StringLeft($cmdline[$i + 1], 1) == "-" Then
                    cmdLineHelpMsg()
                Else
                    ;;Strip white space from the beginning and end of the input
                    ;;Not always necessary let it in just in case
                    ;$msgBody = StringStripWS($CmdLine[$i + 1], 3)
                    ControlSend($hWnd, "", "[CLASS:WindowsForms10; INSTANCE:2], StringStripWS($CmdLine[$i + 1], 3))
                EndIf
        EndSelect

    Next

EndFunc   ;==>ReadCmdLineParams

                If StringLeft($cmdline[$i + 1], 1) == "-" Then

Here's your problem.

If StringLeft($cmdline[$i + 1], 1) == "-" Then

You're using "-" to look for another parameter and when if finds a negative number (it strips the quotes), it thinks you're putting in a parameter.

BTW "==" is used in AutoIt as a case-sensitive comparison, which coincidentally converts both sides of the comparison to strings, you might want to use "=" instead unless you don't mind case sensitivitiy checking.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.
