Euler G.
Hello! I wrote a small utility some time ago to locate and copy Hunspell dictionaries to be used by a third party application, all very simple. Recently a fellow asked me to provide a way for it to work under Wine. Well, it does in fact, but fail to list files which top directory has a hidden attribute. Functions like FileOpenDialog fails to display targeted directory content. Is that a way to overcome this? I mean, can I use a flag or a work around to also display hidden files? Thanks for your insights. Best, Euler

jguinch
Also this could work : ; Save the previous value before writing in the registry Local $iHiddenState = Number( RegRead("HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced", "Hidden") ) ; Show hidden files If NOT $iHiddenState Then RegWrite("HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced", "Hidden", "REG_DWORD", 1) FileOpenDialog("test", "C:\", "*.* (all files)") ; Hide hidden files If NOT $iHiddenState Then RegWrite("HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced", "Hidden", "REG_DWORD", 0) Edited November 4, 2014 by jguinch Spoiler Network configuration UDF, _DirGetSizeByExtension, _UninstallList Firefox ConfigurationArray multi-dimensions, Printer Management UDF
Euler G.
Thank you both. I got Melba23 UDF and will try it tomorrow along with jguinch solution. As I don't have any Wine environment here I'll have to wait for third parties to report back. Thanks again! Best, Euler
