How to simultaneously show console with GUI

6 posts in this topic

I notice some example GUI's have console messages and haven't seen any word of how to enable the console while running a GUI that is trying to display debug messages to the console.

Any ideas?

:)

Do you mean you are running code for a GUI window and you can't see the console? Is it a compiled .exe?

Snips & Scripts

My Snips: graphCPUTemp ~ getENVvars
My Scripts: Short-Order Encrypter - message and file encryption V1.6.1 ~ AuPad - Notepad written entirely in AutoIt V1.9.4

Feel free to use any of my code for your own use.                                                                                                                                                           Forum FAQ

Yes that's the question I have.  No it's not compiled.

By default, when you go to Tools -> Go (F5) it will run your script and show the console at the bottom like so:

I was running the scripts from explorer after each edit. So much simpler to run it from scite. Thanks I love the simple ones.
