A giant Sleep() of 15 minutes is equivalent to 15×60 invocations of a one-second Sleep() (except it's likely to be more accurate and use less CPU).cause if you sleep such a long time your server won't do anything in that time than sleep, snore, ...At that point in the thread, that was precisely the effect we were after.
