I'm really new to Autoit. I've just one really simple question.

How does Autoit handle callbacks? Does Autoit create compartmentalized "threads" (for a lack of a better word) internally to handle callbacks, or does it pause the script by means of "interrupts" (again, for a lack of a better word)? For those seasoned Autoit users and developers, please go easy on me, I just wanted to understand Autoit better, so that I can user it better and more appropriately. I'm well aware that Autoit is a scripting language for automation, and the limitations that usually comes with that description. Thank you.
