I find that this tool is an excellent program for scripting programs for unattended installations. However, at the present, for the life of me, I am unable to get a treeview count;

WinWait("myprogramtitle")
WinActivate("myprogramtitle")
sleep(400)

$lc=_GUICtrlTreeViewGetCount("TElTreeView1")

MsgBox(1,"Number of Lines",$lc)

However, when I used the above func to get the treeview count it gives a return value of zero. Any ideas, in how to get the correct treeview count would be greatly appreciated.

The UDFs were made for AutoIt GUI Trees

you'll need the handle to the treeview, then try this

Const $TV_FIRST = 0x1100

Const $TVM_GETCOUNT = ($TV_FIRST + 5)

$ret = DllCall("user32.dll","int","hwnd",$hwnd,"int",$TVM_GETCOUNT,"int", 0,"int", 0)

MsgBox(0,"Count",$ret[0])

Don't argue with an idiot; people watching may not be able to tell the difference.
