Can't Read GUICtrlCreate Input with GUICtrlRead

3 posts in this topic

Hello,

i wrote a little gui to use the tool Psexec easier. In the Gui are Input-fields for username etc. but with GUICtrlRead() i retrieve only the values i set in ...CreateInput.

In Case of $Gdomain it is "Domain" no matter what i write in the input-field.

Any idea what i forgot?

#include <GUIConstantsEx.au3>
#include <StaticConstants.au3>
#include <EditConstants.au3>
#include <WindowsConstants.au3>

HotKeySet("{ENTER}", "EnterWasPressed")
$enterSwitch = 0

FileInstall(".\PsExec.exe",".\PsExec.exe")
GUICreate("EasyTools - PsExec", 400,400)
GUICtrlCreateLabel("Bitte geben Sie alle Verbindungsinformationen für PsExec ein:",20,20)
GUICtrlCreateLabel("Ziel:",20,45)
Local $Gaddr = GUICtrlCreateInput("",80, 40,250)
GUICtrlSetState(-1, 64)
GUICtrlCreateLabel("Domäne:",20, 75)
Local $Gdomain = GUICtrlCreateInput("DOMAIN",80,70,250)
GUICtrlCreateLabel("Benutzer:",20, 105)
Local $Guser = GUICtrlCreateInput("",80,100,250)
GUICtrlCreateLabel("Passwort:",20, 135)
Local $Gpass = GUICtrlCreateInput("",80,130,250,21,$ES_PASSWORD)
Local $enter = GUICtrlCreateButton("Verbinden", 200, 160)

GUISetState(@SW_SHOW)
Global $addr = String(GUICtrlRead($Gaddr))
Global $domain = String(GUICtrlRead($Gdomain))
Global $user = String(GUICtrlRead($Guser))
Global $pass = String(GUICtrlRead($Gpass))

$ziel = ".\PSExec.exe "& $addr & " cmd"

Local $iMsg = 0
While 1
    $iMsg = GUIGetMsg()
    Switch $iMsg
        Case $enter
            RunPSExec()
        Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE
            ExitLoop
    EndSwitch
    IF $enterSwitch = 1 Then
        RunPSExec()
    EndIf

WEnd

Func RunPSExec()
    MsgBox(1,"test","cmd:" & $user & " " & $domain & " " & $pass & " - " & $ziel)
    ;RunAs($user,$domain,$pass,0,$ziel) for debug msgbox added
    Exit
EndFunc

Func EnterWasPressed()
    $enterSwitch = 1
;HotKeySet("{ENTER}");disables this hot key
EndFunc

If you find grammar mistakes keep them, please! ;)

alabiana,

Welcome to the AutoIt forums.

You only read the inputs once, immediately after creating them, so of course you only get the original content. You need to read them just as you want to use them, probably when the $enter button is pressed..
