I want to create a keyboard trainer for my 2 years old grandson.

He is very intrested when I'm using my PC. I want to create a script to let him torture the keyboard without  doing any harm to the PC.
So I have to intercept all Keyboard and mouse activity and define new functions like when pressing a "A", there should appear a "A" on the Screen and a voice spells the "A".

My question is how to lock the keyboard and mouse to the application without violating the forum rules about keyboard loggers.

Any thoughts?

@JohnOne Thanks for this starting point. But how to recognize the keystrokes and assigning them to different functions without using Hotkeyset() ?  This large amount of hotkeyset would violate the forum rules about key loggers.

How can I grab the keystrokes and assign them a specific function without violating the rules?

If you need a keylogger,  make one.

You just cannot post it on here, not like it's immoral or something.

In fact with a bit of a search I'm 100% certain you will find keyloggers here in one form or another.

Or just do a web search and you'll find one somewhere else.
