DigDeep Posted September 27, 2016 Posted September 27, 2016 Hi, I am trying to run a search for the file "xyz.exe" inside Temp folder. Below code works out all good except I am not able to get the initial "1|" removed from the display. I would need the search result as "C:\Temp\xyz.exe" and not as "1.|C:\Temp\xyz.exe". SearchFile() Func SearchFile() $FindFiles = _FileListToArrayRec("C:\Temp", "xyz.exe", 1, 1, 1, 2) $Copy = _ArrayToClip($FindFiles) MsgBox(0, "Heading", ClipGet()) EndFunc ;==>SearchFile
Moderators Melba23 Posted September 27, 2016 Moderators Posted September 27, 2016 (edited) DigDeep, Use the $iStart_Row parameter of _ArrayToClip to remove the first element of the array from being sent to the clipboard. M23 Edit: And it is not a row number, but the count of the found files. DigDeep Posted September 27, 2016 Author Posted September 27, 2016 Thank you Melba. It worked with the below... $Copy = _ArrayToClip($FindFiles, "", 1, 1, 6)
