[SOLVED] A RegExpReplace problem

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,

I'm trying to macht and replace some text.
I'm trying al morning but I haven't got enough knowledge op regulair expression to make it work.

I only want to match and replace when it's a point at end of line and the next character is not a white space and the next character is a capital character

This is what I got so far

$in = "This is Line1.This is Line2"; -> Match and replace
$in = "This is Line1. This is Line2"; -> Non match
$in = "S.O.S."; -> Non match

$out = StringRegExpReplace($in, "\.(?!\s[a-z][A-Z])", "." & @CRLF)

Is that what you want?

Local $in = [ _
    "This is Line1.This is Line2", _    ; -> Match and replace
    "This is Line1. This is Line2", _   ; -> Non match
    "S.O.S." _                          ; -> Non match

For $s In $in
    ConsoleWrite(">" & StringRegExpReplace($s, "\.(?=[A-Z][a-z])", "." & @CRLF) & "<" & @LF)
