Hi, i wanted to do something but i don't actually know how to explain that ...
I am collecting many things from some .ini file to be loaded in list views but what i want to do while the script is collecting these information from the ini files i want to make something like a flash or a shadow on the gui and after it finishes the gui backs to normal ... do you understand what i mean ?

What about just setting the window transparency?

#include <GUIConstantsEx.au3>

    $hGUI = GUICreate("Test", 200, 100)
    $btnGo = GUICtrlCreateButton("GO", 10, 50, 40, 40)
    $btnStop = GUICtrlCreateButton("Stop", 150, 50, 40, 40)

        GUISetState(@SW_SHOW)

    While 1
        Switch GUIGetMsg()
            Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE
                Exit
            Case $btnGo
                WinSetTrans($hGUI, "", 100)
            Case $btnStop
                WinSetTrans($hGUI, "", 255)
        EndSwitch
    WEnd

If you're looking to also disable input to the GUI during this time look at GUISetState.

√-1 2^3 ∑ π, and it was delicious!
