abdulrahmanok
welcome all , this is my example: #include<file.au3> $test = @ScriptDir & '\info.txt' _FileWriteToLine($test, 1, "Line 1", True) Output : Line 1 (always there is empty line here) What I want is write Line 1 only without that second empty line. info.txt
Danp2
There is always a CR/LF combination written to the end of the line. This is being rendered in your editor to show the blank line, although it technically isn't really there. BrewManNH
If you're writing to a single line file, then don't use _FileWriteToLine, use FileWrite. If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day.
