LotBlind Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 Hi! I'm trying to use a keyboard input visualizer to show which keys I'm pressing when I'm playing a game in DOSBox. Problem is, when DOSBox is focused, it "steals" the inputs all for itself and so the visualizer can't see them. I couldn't really see this in the FAQ or search but I wonder if anyone could tell me whether AutoIT can provide a solution at all? Thanks!

LotBlind Posted February 7, 2018 Author Posted February 7, 2018 I did read the rules... " Launching, automation or script interaction with games or game servers, regardless of the game. " Doesn't sound like what I'm doing. Besides, this could easily come up in a non-gaming context. In fact I know running a Unity program seems to run into the same issue.
Earthshine Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 . Good luck with this. My resources are limited. You must ask the right questions
Moderators Melba23 Posted February 7, 2018 Moderators Posted February 7, 2018 LotBlind, Quote a keyboard input visualizer to show which keys I'm pressing Which sounds very much like it would fall foul of the keylogger prohibition - the thread gets locked anyway.
