m3taphysics Posted May 8, 2018 Share Posted May 8, 2018 Hi I have been at this for a few hours now - I have a button inside an application that loads up an "Open" window. I have obtained the handle for this window and its control. It is a combo box, I am trying to set the text so I can call "open" and have it open the right file specified by the text I set. Unfortunately setting the text has no affect. BrewManNH Posted May 8, 2018 Share Posted May 8, 2018 The area where you enter the text manually in a ComboBox is an edit control, try looking for the handle of that and using it instead of the combo. If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. jdelaney Posted May 8, 2018 Share Posted May 8, 2018 (edited) My signature includes a function to output days on all controls in a window.
