Set text into an input

I was searching how to put a specific text into an auto it input. I found two options :

controlsetText and GUICtrlSetData.

What's the difference between them ?

Basically, GUI* functions are used when you have designed your own GUI.

Control* functions are used when you have to interact with "external" GUIs, like other application not designed by you
