Remove border from GUICtrlEdit

Recommended Posts

I'm struggling to remove the white border around the editbox, I tried -1, but can't get it to work when i'm using bitor as well.

#include <EditConstants.au3>
#include <GUIConstantsEx.au3>
#include <WindowsConstants.au3>
#include <EditConstants.au3>
#Region ### START Koda GUI section ### Form=
$Form1 = GUICreate("Form1", 615, 437, 192, 124)
$Edit1 = GUICtrlCreateEdit("", 10, 10, 480, 300, BitOR($ES_AUTOVSCROLL, $ES_WANTRETURN))
GUICtrlSetBkColor($Edit1, 0x222222)
GUICtrlSetData(-1, "Edit1")
GUICtrlSetFont(-1, 17, 800, 0, "MS Sans Serif")
GUICtrlSetColor(-1, 0x00FF00)
#EndRegion ### END Koda GUI section ###

While 1
    $nMsg = GUIGetMsg()
    Switch $nMsg
        Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE

What would be even better were if I could change the color of the scrollbars, to completely match the background

As shown in the Helpfile page for GUICtrlCreateEdit, the $WS_EX_CLIENTEDGE style is an extended style - so you need to make sure that it does not get applied like this:

$Edit1 = GUICtrlCreateEdit("", 10, 10, 480, 300, BitOR($ES_AUTOVSCROLL, $ES_WANTRETURN), 0)
