Hi there . I have a code like this

Local $oIE = _IECreate("http://www.google.com")
Sleep(3000)
Send("This is a samble text")
;Local $obj = _IEGetObjByName($oIE,"btnK")
;_IEAction($obj,"click")
Send("{Enter}")
Sleep(5000)
_IEQuit($oIE)

I want to fill a textfield by send() (I can't different way ) but it has a problem
instead of "This is a sample text" it send "is a sam" or "This is a sptete" and each time it sends different value from original text . how can i fix this problem ?
I don't know how i can fill special text field .in the above example there is only one text

don't use send, if you're using IE use the IE UDF to do it. I doubt that there's no other way to get it accomplished other than using Send.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

I agree with @BrewManNH. I am using  WebDriver UDF and I don't have to use Send at all. It must be same with IE UDF.

Edit: If the string is long, like when I have to change content of a multiline edit box, I find that pasting is much faster than changing the value with a WebDriver UDF function. I don't know what is the case with IE UDF.

I just start learning autoit a couple of days ago . It hasn't any tutorial :) . Just document . I didn't know about UDF

Take a look at : https://www.autoitscript.com/wiki/User_Defined_Functions

Many people don't even know, that a wiki exists. Not everything is up to date or complete, but a valuable resource for informations.
