Help with HotKeySet

Recommended Posts

I cant see to get HotKeySet to work in any application, even just Notepad, I've looked at other forum posts but cant see to find any that solve my issues.

Its not throwing any errors or flags the HotKey just simply wont work.

Ill post a sample code (that also doesn't work) if you know a fix please let me know

Sample Code:

While 1
    Sleep(10)
WEnd

HotKeySet("{o}","Test")

Func Test()
    Send("Test")
EndFunc

what about to set the hotkey before the loop? And you only need to set it into "{}" if you want a special key which are listed in Send() helpfile - like the helpfile of HotKeySet says.

Next time try to use the helpfiles before asking :)

HotKeySet("o","Test")

While 1
    Sleep(10)
WEnd

Func Test()
    Send("Test")
EndFunc

If you open a script in SciTE (it must be one you have already saved) and hit F1, it will bring up the help file.

You can also launch the .chm file manually from the directory where you installed AutoIt
