Code Snippet

Recommended Posts

Due to the amount of space allowed for attachments (and I have alot of attachments), I decided not to keep it here also

v 1.0.3.6 - 3/4/06

View/Edit Source screen now scrollable when not in edit mode

Code Snippet will be in the tools with the next release of SciTE from JdeB

Here is the latest version of CodeSnippet which will be available in the next SciTE4AutoIt3.

Steve

Extract the zip files to the folder of your choice, compile it, make sure the info from post 1 points to that folder

Some files are probably missing on the computer I'm on.

I get a msgbox with the following error when I try to add a snippet.

Line 0 (File "C:?Program Files\AutoIt3\SciTE\csnippet\cSnippet.exe")

$objPI = $objDoc.createPRocessingInstruction("xml", "version=""1.0""")
$objPI = $objDoc^ ERROR

Error: Variable must be of type "Object"

CSnipet reports version=1.0.3.8 for SciTE

Im running w2k - build 2195. Not updated because I nead to keep my dependencies down to a minimum.

Added ClipBoard Monitoring thanks to Larry/Zedna

Edit: Added Alt + Shift + t to close the tooltip

http://www.autoitscript.com/fileman/users/gafrost/cSnippet_1041.ZIP

I tried your Code Snippet on WIN98 and it crashes when starting.

Return $ai_Return[0] --> not array subscript

I found error in ReduceMemory():

Func _ReduceMemory($dll = "psapi.dll")

Local $ai_Return = DllCall($dll, 'int', 'EmptyWorkingSet', 'long', -1)

If @error Then Return 1

Return $ai_Return[0]

EndFunc ;==>_ReduceMemory

There must be handled situation when psapi.dll is not on that machine

for example as I did - red line

Added Alt+Shift+r "run"

Added Alt+Shift+b "beta run"

These are only valid hot keys when the tooltip is visible

Fixed Duplicate File Name bug....

Thanks for the prompt bugfix response!

I would have preferred, that you used my other suggestion, but that is certainly an improvement!

Any chance you might implement what I said, later?

(sub-folders in the Snips folder, so duplicate names are feasible - so long as a different category)

Very nice! I like being messy though, so I'll just stick with my hundreds of disorganized folders.

If you believe it, I have au3 files in my system directory that do nothing. Nice script though!

Um... That's a rather stupid thing to post IMO... "Thanks for a solution to my dis-organization, but just so you know, it isn't good enough to get me off my lazy ass and try and organize myself" is what it sounds like.

P.S. - (Open SciTe... Take a look in the Tools menu or Ctrl+Alt+s, and you'll see that you've had a solution (this solution) in their for quite some time now.)

Common sense plays a role in the basics of understanding AutoIt... If you're lacking in that, do us all a favor, and step away from the computer.
