Help with checking for array error

I'm trying to pre-empt an error 

The error is:

 : ==> Array variable has incorrect number of subscripts or subscript dimension range exceeded.:
If StringInStr(($aGLVEx_Data[0][13])[$iItem + 1][$iSubItem], ";") Then
If StringInStr(($aGLVEx_Data[0][13]^ ERROR

Generally I'd check if the variable number is greater than the array like if $i > ubound(array) then return. But I don't know how to accomplish that with an array that looks like this and is not a part of a For Loop. How can I check if this will error out before it happens?

This looks like an 2D-array-in-2D-array variable. If so, just do as if the variable $aGLVEx_Data[0][13] was named $x:

If $iItem > UBound($aGLVEx_Data[0][13]) - 2 Then Return
If StringInStr(($aGLVEx_Data[0][13])[$iItem + 1][$iSubItem], ";") Then
