"Unable to execute the external program"

6 posts in this topic

Hello!

I've launched a script that opens dfrg.msc to defrag my hard disk drive, but it occurs an error.

The script is:

Run("dfrg.msc");

and the dialog box says:

Unable to execute the external program

Does it mean that AutoIt can't execute a system program???

Thank you.

Olivier, from France.

[filename] The name of the executable (EXE, BAT, COM, or PIF) to run.

Hi, that might be the better solution, but I think this should run, too.

Ausführen should be another word in the english version. :lmao:

Send("#r")
WinWaitActive("Ausführen")
Send("dfrg.msc")
Send("{Enter}")

So long,

Mega
