Everything is working well except for the fact that such a GUICtrlGetResizing() would greatly help this or any DPI project. The Real Purpose of $WS_EX_NOPARENTNOTIFY ----------------------------------------- Win32 API Definition: In Windows programming, a child window normally sends WM_PARENTNOTIFY messages to its parent when it is created or destroyed, or when the user clicks the mouse cursor within it. Preventing Notifications: Setting $WS_EX_NOPARENTNOTIFY on a window stops it from sending those specific WM_PARENTNOTIFY structural messages up to its parent window. Why it's rarely used in AutoIt: AutoIt abstracts control creation and parent-child window communication entirely. Standard GUI controls (buttons, labels, inputs) rely on standard notification codes (WM_COMMAND, WM_NOTIFY) to function within the AutoIt interpreter. Applying $WS_EX_NOPARENTNOTIFY to a standard AutoIt button is redundant or ignored in terms of high-level event handling because AutoIt doesn't use WM_PARENTNOTIFY to identify which control triggered GUIGetMsg().
