run() problem

Iv had this problem befor i dono whats wroung tho

Run("kcd1.exe",$stardir)

C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Desktop\kCd.Virus.bot\kCd.au3 (9) : ==> Unable to execute the external program.:

Run($stardir&"kcd1.exe") gets same error

what is the value of $startdir?

AutoIt Console written in C#. You need a trailing slash. Otherwise, it's trying to run c:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\kcdkcd1.exe, which obviously isn't what you want. So, Run ($startdir & "\kcd1.exe")

still dose not work

You're trying to run an au3 file? Run the exe.

Also, since your directory has spaces in it, use ' " ' before and after - Run('"' & $stardir&"\kcd1.exe" & '"')

Or use

$rnfile = FileGetShortName($startdir & "\kcd1.exe")
run($rnfile)
