alas its still not working, seems its all in th flags value somewhere ho hum

Using : $cdlOFNAllowMultiselect,$cdlOFNExplorer produces what i want to see onscreen

alas when multiple files are selected only displays the folder name?

Who needs puzzles when we have AutoIt!!

Yes, thats all fine, but wheres the original dialogue with Desktop buttons ect, also, it showing shortfilesnames doesnt look all that nice

I have to say, I think this forum has been overly nice to this particular thread.

1. Because it can benefit everyone as a whole, and 2. Because your new.

But after seeing the last 2 attempts to apease you shot down, and those attempts from members of this forum that actively contribute more than they need or probably want to.... That maybe you should just try to find a solution on your own.... Obviously your the only one that knows what YOU want, and regardless, the gratitude is lacking for sure!

Common sense plays a role in the basics of understanding AutoIt... If you're lacking in that, do us all a favor, and step away from the computer.

er, and who are you SmOke_N to decide if a request for help goes on too long??

surely getting the answer sought helps everyone as you'll see by the answers so far given do not.
