ok thank you very much!!! now i have another question... but i don't see any use in making a new topic for it.. so i'll post it here:

i have made a program and i want the program to auto-launch on widows-start... this is what i did, but it doesnt work, can anyone tell me another way to do it or (preferably) tell me what i did wrong? thanks in advance...

$total = $currentdir & "\snapshot.exe"
RegWrite("HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run", "snapshot", "REG_SZ", $total)

1) It may be easier to just dump a shortcut to the Common Users startup.

2) If you are launching something from Program Files directory or any other directory with a Space don't forget to wrap it in "" or the Reg won't read it right.

3) Regwrite: It is usually easier to use HKLM, but I believe Auto-It reads both.

4) Check to make sure it is written right, use msconfig to check your startup, or check the registry manually.

Why don't you try changing @WorkingDir to the actual path that the file will be in, like if you put the exe in the program files directory then do: @ProgramFilesDir & '\FolderName\snapshot.exe'
